Ok I refraze - maybe possible but NOT designed to.
Talk to both Advance and Sylvania about this, I have and the above is the answer I got. if it was possible we would be using this method as it saves cost and lowers heat, it does not make economic sense to not do something if feasible. I am looking at advances electrical engineering 2009 right now and they are miss quoting you.

Just trying to say you might want to check into other manufacturers for cheaper, but just as good tolerances if not better.
Advance is far from the best manufacturer. |

Not quite sure why the head of technical in would miss quote but makes no odds really, the fauna lamp will run with 2 tubes on one ballast as this also ties in with the other electonics that are incorporated.
