just wondering if there is a good way to remove a frag from a plastic plug? i dont really like the look of it in my tank. got an acro and a hammer on clear plastic plugs and id rather them just attach to a peice of rock. thoughts? |

![]() I usually just break them off at the base with either my hands or a pair of coral cutters (my hand for most acros). Either that or I just break the little plug part off the bottom of the plug and leave the top disk and then mount that if its already encrusted.

![]() Depends on how encrusted the coral is. Sometimes you can slowly word a razor blade between the plug and encrusting coral.
