![]() For the past 8 or 9 months, these little tube creatures have been growing all over my tank. Last night I think I got a glimpse of what is to come. I had no camera last night, but one actually appeared to be a "red featherduster" .. but very very small.
I haven't seen one other actually "open", but when I do water changed, or when bothered, they seem to secrete a kind of stringy goo from their body that sticks to the rocks; like spiderman :P They're also quiet brittle ![]() They even grow on my hermits and snails!! ![]() Bigger area of them, crappy picture. ![]() Any ID's for these?? ![]()

![]() That website explains exactly what they are!
All along I had been hoping they would be something more fun. But at least I have one red featherduster out of nowhere! ![]() Should these snails be removed?? Pump problems?

![]() They shouldnt be of any concern imo. Some people dont like them thuogh so it's really a judgement call on your part. If they bother your corals then yes remove them, otherwise i just wouldnt bother.
