Default Freshwater snowflake eels?

does anyone know if the freshwater version of the snowflake eel is a brackish water eel or can it make it in a freshwater enviroment. all i could find was the salt water snowflake eel which is black and white and just information on that so if anyone out there could help much appreciated

Check here for freshwater moray's, no mention of a snowflake, but it may be helpful

I'm thinking the ones you see are actually Gymnothorax tile, the "freshwater moray", as I have an adult, but the only specimen I saw looked a little different (juvie of course), so I couldn't be sure it was the same thing.

I have had mine if full marine for two years now, and I'm not sure how many years or months it was kept in salt before that. Seems to be thriving.

I checked one out at a local store in Red Deer, and it does look like they are carrying Gymnothorax tile....these juvies can be converted to complete saltwater in case anyone wants to try one.
