Time for a new heater

I've tried several brands over the last 25 years and they all weren't that reliable. However I never tried the stupid expensive ones. I just bought 2 Ebo-Jager's for my new build and now you have me worried, lol.

They've been in the sump mostly for the last seven or eight years....so are you saying I should stick with them then?

If a $25-$50 heater can last you 5-7 years, I think you are doing pretty good, IMO. In this hobby, that's good value.
