![]() Note that the spots only take up about 1/5 the length of the Chiton. The photo that the OP posted looks as though the spots cover about 1/2 the length. Maybe the photo is misleading, maybe you are right. Indeed, it looks close to the Cryptoplax sp, but it looks more to me like a similar looking nudibranch.
