![]() I started salt in 1996 with a10g. Moved to a 90g. Then a 45, upgraded to 75, then a 150. Downgraded back to the 75, then 90wide. Upgraded that to the current 180.
A bit of time trivia. Live rock was $20/lb when I started -lol But live rock came with corals on it, and all kinds of "live"

![]() First was a standard 70g fresh water tank in 1972........first salt tank was a 110g long tank and my 70g tank in early 80,s. First reef tank was a 3ft. 60g style tank around 1989 I guess. Not enough room to list all the reef tanks since...

![]() My first all started with those little mall kiosk acryllic bowls with dwarf frogs in it, in I think 1998-89
Then a 20 gal and it went from there. within the year I had 7 tanks running at once. All freshwater. Maxed out at a 90 with a couple of Oscars and bichirs. (man I had some kick ass muscles from hauling buckets. ![]() My first SW is my 29 biocube with a 10 gal gravity return refugium. I'm almost ready to transfer everything into my 75 upgrade with a 45 sump. Hubby always torments me..."it all started with those dam 2 little frogs from that mall kiosk" ![]()

I remember selling you this one, for a lot less than $20/lb. lol. I'm just glad I got it back after a few years.... When I got this rock there was a few polyps on it. It went around for a while, it was in some tough shape when I got it back. ![]()

![]() I also remember when we would buy live rock from King Ed's Pets near my house for what seemed like an arm and a leg, but really was probably almost the same price as now (except now I buy it from fellow reefers and not retail). That rock would be covered with life and Irene & I would spend hours ooohing and aaaaahing over the polyps, featherdusters, pods, tiny starfish and baby corals that could be found on that rock.

That's cool to see still alive and better yet in color most corals don't see that long in captivity ![]()
