Seems like a very interesting product with a unique spin.

So lets get to the fun question, in your opinion why should I decide to pay more than double the cost of my current salt for this product?

You have detailed that the product contains:

Quote:
Tropic Marin did something completely different when it launched their Bio Actif system, and more specifically when they launched their new salt. They added something that is usually left out in most salt. Organic Compounds. A book by Sorokin on Coral Reef Ecology states on page 66 that content of reef water in organic C is around 1 to 3 ppm. If the natural reefs of the world have a range of organics why wouldn’t we put them in our man-made glass reef houses?
I understand this has been shipped across the world to get to us so yes, the price will be more expensive. Really though, am I actually paying double to get 1-3 ppm of organic carbon? There has to be more to this, does this salt also bring me beer and provide moral support while I do my water change?

So I am assuming you wouldn't want to be running or trying to run a ulns with this salt. So do the tropic marin balling salts contain these organics found in the salt ?
