Under the right circumstances, LEDs can save you money. No one has ever told me that LEDs are an equivalent replacement for MH. In fact, everyone (including LED owners) typically tell me that they can NOT replace MH.

Well, honestly, LED will eventually take over. So as electric vehicles. But right now, hybrid is, IMO, the best option. People were very excited when electric vehicles started coming to the market but soon got disappointed and came the hybrid which people are more willing to buy. Some time in the future, people will get used to the LEDs and to them, growth from bulbs like T5 and MH will be extremely irrelevant, maybe they will even claim to have better growth with future LEDs than MH just like people now claim to have better growth with these instead of CFL. Like I always say, its all about adaptability
