I wish I could tell you but even we have no idea.

Because every single aspect of our build is custom, it's taking way longer than we expected. We are now on the 6th month of our build witch is completely ridiculous.

We received our 300 gallon deep dimensions tank with starphire glass today.

This will be our display built into the wall. The tank measures 6ft long, x 3ft deep x 27" tall.

We are planning to light it with 6 EcoTech Radion Pros and 4 EcoTech MP40W-ES pumps all running on EcoTech ReefLink.

I'd go with another vertex alpha 250 and a vertex libra. I'd use a trigger sump and copy how it was done in the video. I'd skip on any vortech pumps because of noise. Check out the sump at 3.21.

Very slick video!!!

We are actually moving the Vertex Alpha 250 from our LPS system to this 300g display. We got two of the Deltec SC2560 internal skimmers for both our LPS and SPS systems.

There is nothing cleaner looking than a vortech pump for an in-wall tank unless you drill the glass for a closed loop. Noise is not a concern because this is a commercial setting, not a bedroom.

Since this is an in-wall, there is no canopy required.

We will update this thread with more pics of the in-wall display build.

The electrical inspector came today and failed us.

Apparently, all equipment used must be CSA (Canadian Standards Association) certified.

Considering that most of our equipment is made in Germany, we are out of luck. Even EcoTech Radions, Vortech pumps, Tunze powerbeads, etc.. are not CSA certified.

That leads me to believe that every single fish store in canada is in violation.

Wonderful...
