What did you use for filler. Anything other than crushed oyster shells. Curious to see what others used... |

![]() I've got no experience here... but I have heard of people putting in pasta (cooked I presume) into their rockwork... supposedly, during the curing process the pasta will disintegrate and help in forming porous rock.

![]() The same thing can be done with compressed co2 or o2 depending on what you have or want to use
If you airate a thick mixture you will end up with the constancy of an areo bar

![]() The macaroni thing sucks I hear - do some searches on here as there have been several discussions on this. Several Calgarians made their own rock.

![]() I use a mixture of SOUTHDOWN fine sand] and ARRAGONITE along with the osyter shells. works great.
