DIY Rock

Anyone here try to make there own rock??

What did you use for filler. Anything other than crushed oyster shells.
Curious to see what others used...

I've got no experience here... but I have heard of people putting in pasta (cooked I presume) into their rockwork... supposedly, during the curing process the pasta will disintegrate and help in forming porous rock.

The same thing can be done with compressed co2 or o2 depending on what you have or want to use

If you airate a thick mixture you will end up with the constancy of an areo bar

The macaroni thing sucks I hear - do some searches on here as there have been several discussions on this. Several Calgarians made their own rock.
