Is this method too risky?

I might just try to make some light reflectors to reflect light off the plastic brace then back into the water if I can't euro brace it

Tank ran for a year. Then I sold it. Still in use as far as I know

Default Euro brace

I also did my 180 gal
Drained around 30% out if my DT and put the euro brace on,let it sit for three days and has been great ever since
