![]() jesus guys, this is the one I saw in China, its very popular in my home country because they are super cheap and looks very effective. To be honest, the price that you linked is kinda over price compare to what I saw, they sell like $10-$15 each piece in China LMAO.

![]() No i remove all of it, and wash in the bathroom sink under tap water, it grows back pretty fast now. In the beginning it was slower but now after each cleaning it comes back no problem. It came with small plastic scrubber "tool" so its easy to do.

![]() I did not think it was allowable for a company to market and sell a algae scrubber because the design was patented. That's why you will not see one marketed and sold in North America, but I guess overseas anything goes.

![]() Well for the better of humanity I guess, it is good thing that there was no patents back when the wheel was invented.

![]() For $370(!) mine $40 one looks like a good deal, LOL doesn't take that much room, no crazy plumbing or wiring required ether.
https://www.turbosaquatics.com/vb4/s...Algae-Scrubber Obviously the capacity comes in mind first, but reliability of something simple versus complicated is a huge factor for me as well as the price. I mean one CFL bulb and PVC structure with no risk of failure or the monster "Turbo Scrubber" ? I choose simplicity, reliability and low cost. Woa, how many people will pay $520 for Algae Scrubber? https://www.turbosaquatics.com/vb4/s...Algae-Scrubber . |
