Algae Scrubber
Algae Scrubber
Got a new Algae Scrubber installed. Don’t know if there any noticeable effect on corals , but I can definitely see less algae in the tank. My Display Tank is 65 gal with 20 gal sump. Heavily fed and over skimmed. It takes less room in the sump compare to other designs, needs less water flow (T-eed off of main circ. pump) one CFL lamp for light source and easyer to clean compare to plastic sheet ones. Brand new look. http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...psf77aec92.jpg . http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps8045f2aa.jpg . http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...psd194fc65.jpg . http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...psaa0a4cf0.jpg . http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps95c8b4b6.jpg . http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/o...psae5cc588.jpg . |

although it looks a little small i don't know enough to say it can't be effective. it looks really well built tho that is slick.

Got it from China, it is small, but for tanks less than 90 Gal it might work. Especially when you have something like 33 Gal and no room in the sump this is good choice imo.

Can u pm me a link to where u got it
Thanks |

Did you buy it online?

That is incredibly slick. I can see that being scaled up really easily, sure looks a heck of a lot more professional than the DIY scrubbers I've seen.
