That is incredibly slick. I can see that being scaled up really easily, sure looks a heck of a lot more professional than the DIY scrubbers I've seen.

Uhh I did not know they did kind of Algae Scrubbers. I have an ATS though in my sump. it is a sheet of plastic 10" X 10" with LED lights and it grows algae like crazy. This may work for light fed tanks and I doubt it would export a lot nutrients since the space for algae growth is very limited.

So this is an in-sump setup, right? It's very slick. I'd like to see a link too, please!

Here is the link
http://www.reefshops.com/algae-turf-...ts-filter.html
$45 shipped to Canada.
It is in sump yes, they say provide the design and they will make it to the specs, but when i contacted him he said only if i buy 12 they will make it custom.
So if there is enough interest for a gruop buy it may work,

Yah, you are correct don’t expect a miracle, nevertheless even with this small size I remove good chunk of algae every one or two weeks.
If they can make it wider though it would increase surface area greatly without too much increase in cost (I think)

jesus guys, this is the one I saw in China, its very popular in my home country because they are super cheap and looks very effective. To be honest, the price that you linked is kinda over price compare to what I saw, they sell like $10-$15 each piece in China LMAO.
