Dang I have my halides on for 10 hours mainly for my viewing pleasure I may have to rethink this

I found a thread on rc. It did talk about photosaturation and that test have been done and in said test photosynthesis continoued for 20 hours during intense light.
It did state that the split cycle will drive fish bat sh*t crazy. So we will see how that turns out
According to the thread on rc 75% of calcification is don during daylight hours

Default 10 day update

well its been ten days since i started this.

so far its been very good, a few of the corals are showing new growth. my purple poison shortcakes growth has taken off, i really connot believe how much its grown

as for color nothing yet for considerable change

fish dont seem to mind. my pipe fish did hide for a day or two but it along with the assessor and shrimp are fine

one thing i do like is first light schedule is on when i get up for work so i get a quick peak before im out the door
