|   The algae in the second photo is actually growing on the backside of the rocks, so it's not going to cover anything. If it poses no real harm, then I guess I will leave it be for now. I love how the smaller one looks. I just really hate that it's growing out of my zoas.  I started this tank in oct. so I'm still pretty green at a lot of this stuff. Never had to trim or frag anything yet. But if it keeps encroaching on the zoas, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and start chopping. |

|   All you need is to use a scissor to remove the portion potentially blocking the zoas and keep doing the trimming biweekly or once a month depends on the growth rate of this algae. |
