Thats always a nightmare. Are the scratches on the inside or outside? I bought a used tank once that looked great when I bought it, but as soon as I had water in it you could see the front glass was scratched to hell on the inside. So hard to keep clean with those

Thanks all. Agree it sucks when we set up a new display and its partially wrecked by something like that. When we do it ourselves its bad enough but when it comes that way brand new, well, I cant say that here.

They are on the outside, so wonder if they can be buffed. Have to go read somethreads on that.

They can be buffed. You need to use the powder that they use for polishing jewelery stones and a lot of elbow grease! I would have the seller line someone up and pay for it at this point. Let's see some true customer service on this one!!!!
