![]() Chuckle, that might work well for a few channels in the flatlands of Manitoba, but you're in them thar mountains now & nowhere near a major broadcaster. Might be lucky & a CBC signal will bounce off the clouds for you on a rainy day.
When I was living in Ottawa all I had was a small TV with rabbit ears as well. Free TV and when it comes right down to it, what I got (about half dozen channels) was really all I needed. Some local news & programming in fat cat city. For internet I had Bell DSL, worked fine too. Now I'm forking out close to $100 a month for a Shaw bundle that offers little flexibility in programming choices. Internet is pretty good & Shaw actually offers a few neat features like photoshare, web page etc. I imagine Telus offers similar stuff & there are plenty of other ways to share photos & files these days. Definitely thinking of cancelling the TV though. Gazillion channels & nothing on but reality & infomercials.
