I killed mine off by putting it in the dark in the sump, 2 months later no xenia!

Yes, thank God, I had to remove mine, they were taking over my tank.

Can't do that in a heavily stocked SPS tank that the xenia is attached too

anyway of covering it with a yogurt container or something like that? just to block light and excess nutrients from getting to it? I imagine it would work the same.

I have been tempted to save up for a Green laser.. but $1000 is a little pricy for Xenia control
