In Calfo's book of coral propagation, he shows photographs on p. 317 of how "an Acanthastrea polyp can be grown as free-living by fragging from fragments in time. They are propagated by bilateral cutting and quadrilateral and will live and heal easily on a sandy substrate." SOLD
