FS: Acan frag of 3 unattached polyps (SOLD)
3 polyps of red Acan. Unattached and ready to be glued or even divided further. In Calfo's book of coral propagation, he shows photographs on p. 317 of how "an Acanthastrea polyp can be grown as free-living by fragging from fragments in time. They are propagated by bilateral cutting and quadrilateral and will live and heal easily on a sandy substrate." SOLD
Photos of the polyp colony before becoming free living. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...10-50_0154.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...46-17_0166.jpg Actual frag of the 3 free-living polyps. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...02-08_0004.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...01-30_0001.jpg Thanks for looking. Drop me a PM if you're interested. I can meet in Port Moody in the evenings and weekends or in New Westminster during weekdays. |
