![]() I would go with the vinegar bath running for few minutes.
Or a much stronger acid if you have allot of calcium buildup I use hydrocloric or moriatic acid mixed in water and done outside as you shouldn't enjoy any of the fumes. ![]() |

![]() I use full strength vinegar
It's cheap, readily available everwhere and works very well. Reuse it for a few days then dump it down the drain.

![]() +1 with the others... Vinegar bath, you can do vinegar/water, but straight vinegar will clean it quickly.
I clean all my powerheads on a regular basis. Vinegar/water bath (mostly vinegar) for a few days, then it just washes clean without any scrubbing. I would then normally soak in clean water for a day to make sure all vinegar is gone.
