Remember to keep every recite including when you come out and look for a place to buy as they are all deducible. I had so many recites I carried about half of the amount over to the second year I lived here. If you do the simple deduction you get back way less. It is KM times a set amount of cents per KM it never works out to be anywhere close to the same amount.

I,m going to check out Telus. Guess nobody likes Rodgers out there?

Thanks

It could be inclusive in our taxes Bill. Darned if I know. Everything here is hidden in someway. LOL. I would guess elsewhere also.

Those moving expense claims are only if your working after the move, are they not? That may be the case, depending on what we do. I did claim it here when I moved from Clear Lake into Brandon, {I was working}, but not from Thompson to Clear Lake as I was retiring.

You do not have to be moving to a job as long as you find a job within 90 days I believe.

We moved here in Aug with no job to go to and I found one in Oct I was able to claim everything.
