Hi Brad, I'll field this for Bob (he bought those off me anyhow ). Their actual intended purpose is mounting Tunzes to a Wavysea or Vertex Mocean swirler but I think they're a great way to get the same degrees of freedom out of the old style Tunzes that you'd get with the new ones .. so long as one's tank was prepped for it like what Bob did, before filling. By the time the idea occured to me it was far too late but I'm glad to see someone else had the same idea and was able to connect it to reality.

Do you think you could pipe these down further into the tank with plastic piping (2-6" long) and still have the stability? Just looking for ideas myself....I really like the bracketing.

Well, here goes nothing.

Heres the water test, it's just about full now, everything looks good.

I get nervous filling a tank for the first time in the shop, can't imagine doing it in the house, looking good Bob.

Loudest part of my system would be the nagging sound I hear on a regular basis about how much time and money I spend on the tank.

Unfortunately with this one I couldn't test it outside. Oh well, whats 300 gallons if it let go! No worries on this one, Im confident on the build, I've seen quite a few tanks and this one is solid.
