Bob, where did you get the brackets from? This is a very cool design. Clean, and I like how the electrical cord goes neatly into the bulkhead. Did you design these? or are they a tunze item? never seen them before.

Do you think you could pipe these down further into the tank with plastic piping (2-6" long) and still have the stability? Just looking for ideas myself....I really like the bracketing.

Hi Brad, I'll field this for Bob (he bought those off me anyhow ). Their actual intended purpose is mounting Tunzes to a Wavysea or Vertex Mocean swirler but I think they're a great way to get the same degrees of freedom out of the old style Tunzes that you'd get with the new ones .. so long as one's tank was prepped for it like what Bob did, before filling. By the time the idea occured to me it was far too late but I'm glad to see someone else had the same idea and was able to connect it to reality.
