You computer screen has a DPI of about 72. If you set your printer to print your picture using 72DPI then the picture would come out about the same size as what you see on the screen but will be low quality as far as pictures are concerned. If you set the DPI to about 150 then, your picture will be about 50% shorter in length and height. At 300DPI, it when then be half that size again. So if your original image was 2272X1704, and your screen was 72 DPI it would be about 31"x23.7" and that explains why it wouldn't fit on your screen. |
