![]() Can you use Chemi Pure in a reactor?
I am picking up a TLF reactor today and just wondering if it is suitable for use with Chemi Pure. I know that the packaging states to leave in the bag and not open..... so can the bag go into the reactor? Any info is good. ![]()

I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds. ![]() |

![]() Yup, I used to do it before I went to the EcoBak pellets.

![]() So just fit the bag in... around the tube in the center? Is there any negative effects to compressing it as opposed to flattening it out as much as possible?

![]() No, remove the media from the bag. Once it's in the reactor make sure you do a fresh water run through until the water runs clear. When it's running in the tank just make sure it's at a low tumble because too hard of a tumble will allow for some of the granules to get through the sponge in the reactor.
