You may want to wait for more reviews regarding even PAR coverage front to back with wider tanks. Might be an issue with a 2 foot wide tank like yours. I guess it might also depend on your aquascape and location of corals/clams etc.

Pacific Sun units are pricey. Most have no optics and the version with optics is even more expensive.

I love the Convergence Technology that Vertex is paving the way for. Making all their aquarium apparatus's compatible and controllable.

Somewhat pricey, but not worth discarding simply based on price.

Thats about 10% plus US exchange rate.

Considering (in my opinion), it is a much better light, the cost difference is negligable.
