From what I remember reading some time ago about LED lighting is that they will keep corals alive but at a reduced rate of growth. Apparently they lack the UVA/UVB radiation output that the corals get from the sun and halide lighting and it is a factor in growth rates.

Well i get mine tomorrow i will let you know how it goes. Thedogfather has a very good post here and on reef central about it. He claims his corals are doing much better than his ati powermodule. Heres hoping

Lack of UV is not really an issue for coral growth but may play a role of some sort in colouration. The jury is still out on that but I can tell you my corals are growing well and looking good under LEDs. I have other concerns about this fixture but that has all been discussed ad nauseum in other threads so I won't go into it here again.

What are your tank dimensions?
