![]() Hey everbody! I'm looking for a frag of A. desalwii. I don't know what fancy name other reefers have dubbed it so it's a little hard to track it down. To make things easier, here is a picture of A. desalwii I found on Google.
If any one has a frag of this beauty, please give me a shout!!! |

![]() Most A. desalwii do not have green polyps like this, most of them are brown so finding one won't mean that you will end up with one looking like this.

![]() Are you sure on that? The only ones I have ever seen in tanks or in pictures have green polyps, albeit maybe not as green as in the picture I have there; in fact, if I recall correctly, that is one of the traits of A. desalwii. A. plana, which looks incredible similar and grows in the same region as A. desalwii, has the purple/brown polyps...

![]() Well there is what is possible in nature, and what is possible with heavy dosing of elements. Both Plana and Desalwii can have green polyps. I believe the main factor in determining which is which is the growth pattern.
