Actually, I'll wager that Mikey keeps this one for awhile. Small footprint, easy to clean and skims well. Not that he hasn't had skimmers that are better but he's running out of product lines.

haven't been paying the closest attention but I *think* h&s, atb and kz is still do-able.

I am interested in how it does tho. I've got an upgrade dream and I think a skimmer powered by an eheim would be a smart move. Love those pumps.

I'm really happy with my BM. Mine came with the Aquabee though. A good pump but you're right you can't beat the Eheim.

Do you the the cone is worth the big extra $ they charge over and above the regular style skimmer?

well the cone isnt that much more then a normal skimmer when you look at the vertex skimmer Cone you are paying for the RD pump and the royal exclusive name on there.
