BUBBLE MAGUS 220 Cone

Well where do I start. Well after buying a vertex 170 cone and some one from J&L telling me that it would be strong enough for my tank.:twised: Ya whatever. Still to selling dry goods. I talked to Mike at Aqua Digital. about the Bubble Magas skimmer's I heard alot about them. and then I thought another POC WRONG. this one had the ehiem pump and after seeing Kien's skimmer and the 2 tanks that he has with them. what the heck So i bought one and the cone is built quite well too.

THANKS AQUA DIGITAL

I would seriously get one if you are looking for a insump skimmer

After a 20 min bath in vinegar i put the beast into the sump. and like literally 3 mins in to skimming

Yep, the BM is one hell of a skimmer range! We are really proud of the line.

Feel free to keep the review going Mike ;)

Mike what sort of high speed photo rig are you shooting with?

I know the half-life of your skimmers is extremely short but you seem to manage a photo or two of each one before they're gone.

Actually, I'll wager that Mikey keeps this one for awhile. Small footprint, easy to clean and skims well. Not that he hasn't had skimmers that are better but he's running out of product lines.

haven't been paying the closest attention but I *think* h&s, atb and kz is still do-able.

I am interested in how it does tho. I've got an upgrade dream and I think a skimmer powered by an eheim would be a smart move. Love those pumps.

I'm really happy with my BM. Mine came with the Aquabee though. A good pump but you're right you can't beat the Eheim.

Well you can beat it. It still won't stop pumping!

Do you the the cone is worth the big extra $ they charge over and above the regular style skimmer?
