I have one in my tank and I just feed it fairly good sized chunks of whatever I'm feeding e.g. clams, silversides, bloodworms, squid etc. Its got a fairly large mouth since its quite large and it takes pretty much anything. The pic is my 29 gallon biocube.

I think it could be that they don't multiply very quickly (i.e. create a new head). Mine has just become bigger over time. I treat and feed it like a sea anemone and have had no problems. They add some nice colour to the tank and their sticky tentacles will also catch any food particles that pass by during feeding. I start by shutting down the power heads and filter and target feed it (as well as the acans) but it will continue to catch particles after I turn everything back on. Overall, I don't think feeding is that big an issue.

Mine is SUPER tiny in comparison, and we paid $15 for one polyp. But it eats very well (easy to feed), and is growing quite well.
