Have you not been there? It's dirty and you can't even walk down some of the aisles. They've got cat leashes in with fish nets etc. Plus the livestock they bring in should'nt even be brought in unless special order. Alot of people say they should go "have a talk" about what some of the KNOWLEDGEABLE stores such as J&L bring in but never no mention of this store.

Unorganized it may be, but they have a lot of stuff and I've never seen anything abused in there. (well for a pet store anyway, yes a few fish housed in too small tank but a store is a store no one expects it to stay long.) Saltwater selection is always varied and they price better than J&L sometimes.
I find with saltwater fish they get more variety than J&L more frequently.
J&L gets a good variety but because they're a popular online store stock goes fast.

i was just at JL and they only have a bunch of dendros at $25 a head. no sun polyps.

and what with all the negative talk about king ed's... i understand its a mess but if you ask anyone who works there if they have a certain item, they will know exactly where it is. organized chaos, yeah. They are also the most fair place to make trades with. Robert is quite knowledgable down at king ed's and works with what he has. The people who own the place dont give him much of a budget to work with, so if you ask me he is trying his best. you try being in his shoes for a day.
