1) My guess is that when using the smaller guard it creates more velocity and suction where the water enters the powerhead. Because you have the same flow, whether using the smaller or the larger guard, the smaller of the two creates more velocity and strenght to the "water pull" because of restriction. 3) It could of happened at night when the fish was sleeping, mine sleep near the top and around powerheads. 2) The chromis just died and was stuck there and wasn't just sucked in as the fish went passing by. I will just trade you two hagen 301's for your Maxijet when you come out next sunday ben, talk to you later. Bye |
