![]() Well, if you think about it, worldwide there is a lot of stolen art out there that is bought and sold all the time.
Why can't it be the same for this? Probably sells for a lot more money this way. |

![]() I find it highly unlikely the person who took these is some blackmarket, sport memorabilia mastermind. He was likely just a fan sitting there and thought he could take them- either for himself, a friend, family or to make a quick buck. My guess is just for himself though (Be huge bragging rights to tell family/friends that you have Crosbys Glove and Stick that won Olympic gold 2010). Police will have tons of leads on this I think and it won't take them long to find who took them off the ice and where they ended up. Gotta remember how many cameras were pointed at the ice during this time (news, security, etc...) for them to look over!
And the priceless term is way over exaggerated. You will not have people paying millions of dollars for this stick and glove. I still think $10K is generous and no charges laid.
