Making tank purchases when you're in a relationship

I got busted today! Nothing was said though, for now! I am sure it will come up sooner than later.
I even tried the beer and hockey, but he caught on! It's a little hard to ignore all the drip tubes I have going!

LOL, I just managed to sneak in a comment about a powerhead purchase while talking about going to Ikea to get a cabinet for our kitchen (killing two birds with one stone as the powerhead is in Van). He didn't even blink an eyelash and proceeded to talk about how we were going to get the cabinet

sometimes i think we all must be a little defective to spend so much money on this hobby

raf and i are lucky because we equally like aquariums (its how we met). i am probebly the persuader though, in that i always want more things and raf ends up doing the work to maintain them
