I think the key to this guy is it's base. I've never felt a base that firm or smooth and still have some texture.

Post a picture if you can.

I'm stubbornly clinging to malu though, if it is one of the hosting species. Outside of those 12 or so species are .. um .. rather a lot of different species so I wouldn't even hazard a guess in that case.

about 10" fully opened.

Well that was very quick. Carpet is now sold!!

Check out the Purple Pink one.

It is super nice.
