So here is an update.

I started the plumbing for the sump today getting the return line done:

Then I built my durso standpipes for dual corner overflows:

And finally I did the overflow to sump line's:

Next will be the 30w UV that I have to figure out where it will go so it is not in the way of the closed loop I have planned. Still need to find a 45mm & 65 mm glass drill bit that are not to expensive to drill for the loop.

I've gotten hole saws from mops.ca before, they work well and are cheap. I thought I might have a 65mm bit your could have but I went and checked and its 75mm.

Do you think that a 75 mm hole would be to big for a 1 1/2" bulkhead? I could fill in the hole around the bulk head with silicone.

If it were me I would get a 2" bulkhead then reduce it to 1.5" outside the tank if that would work for your application.

I will check to see what I have for bulk head in my stock if I got one that would work. It is for the feed to the pump for my closed loop so going down to 1 1/2" at the pump would not be an issue.

No I thought I would try the durso standpipe on this tank. I am not going to glue the bottom of the stand pipe into the bulk head untill I test it to see how it works.

Well I do have a 45mm bit as well. If you are in town you can come a grab them both. Only thing is I'd like to have the 45 back since I might need it again. Even if you returned it in the next couple months that would be fine, I won't be using it anytime soon.

That would be sweet. I hope to be there for work next week if all goes to plan. Shoot me a pm with your contact info. I will get them drilled and back to you fairly quick.
