![]() I drive a Tandem 08 Sterling........they are a little gutless but I cruise down the road at 110
slower if its snowing and whatnot and everyday I get rigs blowing by me at 120 to 140. I can understand if the roads are bare and dry but this is happening during snow, icy conditions, fog and it seems to be getting worse. I was never a wussy driver but when it hits close to home it really makes you step back and think. |

![]() I think that is a fair amount of dammage, most cube vans i have seen do not have much for a rear bumper so the other truck would have just peeled right into it.
I think it all comes down to basic physics too. truck/trailer combo is pushing a lot of weight. |

![]() Impact is equal to mass times velocity so it's possible to cause a lot of damage at low speed if the mass is large enough. Best to leave it to the investigators but I'd say it's possible. Not sure it really matters though.
Looks rough though ![]() |

![]() That does look like alot of damage for a 30km/h speed differential. The insurance investigators/police will probably be able to estimate speeds from the amount of damage.
