orange skimmate

Could be that snow you are feeding. I used that stuff and man did my tank start to smell, and I would get that color out of my skimmer also. that stuff just pollutes the tank in my opinion.

oh i did pick up some new plankton type food for treats ..its pink and looks like smaller mysis....maybe that

I'm sure this is it. I've seen this affect many, many times with different foods.
