I began pulling ozone directly into my skimmer sometime in September. As the tank turned around right about then, it is one of many things that I continue to do.
Specifically, I've not noticed the ozone to do anything in particular...except smell. So..Does it work?...I don't know, but the tank hasn't died.

I used ozone for about a year. It did polish the water some...though sometimes I thought it was all in my mind. I stopped when I started running Ultralith/Zeo. Never got around to hooking it back up.
