ozon experiance
any one that has exp. with ozon in the tank.
I'm thinking about adding to my 350 display (450 total) tank let me know how you think about this, and how it worked for you thanks Kevin |
Ozone is great for a tank to polish the water, remember big doses to fast can wipe out your tank. remember it will quickly turn your conversion of ammonia ,nitrites to nitrates super fast, and if you dont have something to remove the nitrates then its going to build up.

I assume you've read through these already?

I began pulling ozone directly into my skimmer sometime in September. As the tank turned around right about then, it is one of many things that I continue to do.
Specifically, I've not noticed the ozone to do anything in particular...except smell. So..Does it work?...I don't know, but the tank hasn't died. |
I used ozone for about a year. It did polish the water some...though sometimes I thought it was all in my mind. I stopped when I started running Ultralith/Zeo. Never got around to hooking it back up.
