![]() No problem with ABS; it's one of those myths. Your powerheds, pumps, heaters etc. all contain ABS parts/housings.

AFAIK Plumbing code prohibits the use of ABS for potable water. For potable water it is necessary to use PVC or Polyethylene (i.e. PEX). Likewise for medical grade it is necessary to use CPVC. Why take the risk? Use PVC like everyone else does. It's tested and predictable. |
