PVC Fittings?

Anybody know where to find PVC fittings in the Red Deer area? Any stores I've visited (Home Depot, Rona, Peavy Mart) have very limited supply and nothing in the way of valves or reducers. I have found some ABS fittings that would work and get me by, but I'd prefer to keep everything the same and go with PVC.

I got a bunch of mine ffrom emco in edmonton. dont know if there is one in reddeer

Edmonton's a little bit out of my way, thanks anyway. There's enough of the black ABS to make most of my stuff work but like I said, I'd rather do PVC.

MMAX go to Emco in the Riverside Industrial Park that is where I get all mine.

Ohhhh no. You cannot use ABS anyways. Please avoid it.

If there is a UFA store around, its worth a try! The UFA in Cramrose actually carries a pretty reasonable supply of white PVC, and same with the Home Hardware.

I agree with Funky Fish dont use ABS what your looking for is SCH40 any plumbing outfit should have it and if you have plumbers in your town there will be a wholesale where they buy their fittings.

EMCO, 4605 61 Street (RIVERSIDE INDUSTRIAL PARK, BOTTOM OF THE NORTH HILL OF GATEZ AVE.), Red Deer, (403) 346-7300

PVC fittings & pipe at wholesale pricing. Don't muck around looking here & there, just go here.

Is there some kind of problem with salt water and ABS pipe? What about the PVC cement? Is there a non-toxic type because most of them have poisonous labels on the containers.

I get mine from bruin plumbing

No problem with ABS; it's one of those myths. Your powerheds, pumps, heaters etc. all contain ABS parts/housings.
