Default calcium

so Univar sells to the public? do i just call them and order or they have a retail location?

i just found the dowflake at home hardware, they just ordered a bag for me for 24 bucks, i just need to go and see if that is in fact the one being mention by Randy. Once I get everything, it will be time to try, there will be a lot of questions then!!!!

Default quick question

Suppose I didn't want to make so much at once of Randy H-F's stuff, could i take his recipe and change it by using half of everything listed? that should give me the same properties right?

I have some DSW Magflake. How much did you need?

You might want to google Dowflake+Bromine.

Default Wallmart

I get mine from wallmart If you go looking though enough of the ice melts you can usually find one that is just a bucket of mag-chloride and nothnig else (except probably a little contaminate) but I have been using it for about 1 year now without trouble. and 20lbs is about $6.

I also hit the pool place for my dowflake. It's used to increase calcium hardness in pools. Somewhere about $4-$6 per lbs.
I can always find calcium chloride in the driveway-melt. But they always add urea and other colorants
