I've done it similar to the way Drock describes. Works well. Although I prefer to have several mouths on each frag - just in case.

I like fragging LPS with a wet tile saw (paid $60 at Princess Auto) but if you can afford it there are some really nice hobby size wet diamond bandsaws like the Inland DB100 that make it even easier and less risky. Look on ebay for best price.
