agree with ya on that one longer you are stressing out that live stock. i never float the bag i start dripping right away. at a drip every .5 of a second then i add a about 1-2 turkey baster full to the bag every 15 mins

The only thing I acclimate are shrimp. Everything else including crabs get the temp equalized, then I remove from the bag and place in the tank

Bingo. thats wat i do. i dont think i've ever lost livestock due to poor acclimatisation... dont think thats a word w/e haha... anyway longer than an hour seems a bit excessive
